Hopewell residents are encouraged to clean up around their homes and streets during the city’s Fall Citywide Cleanup Oct. 15-22. The Citizen’s Convenience Center, 507 Station St., will be open from 12:30 until 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. Saturday. Think Green: Earth Day (Hopewell)

Hopewell Recreation and Parks will host event for all ages throughout Crystal Lake Park. There will be gardening activities, sensory play, crafts and outdoor games. The park’s paved trail will transform into a scavenger hunt, story-walk and more! Event is free but registration is required.  Hopewell Recreation and Parks will follow all CDC and VDH recommended guidelines.
