Hopewell residents are encouraged to clean up around their homes and streets during the city’s Fall Citywide Cleanup Oct. 15-22.

The Citizen’s Convenience Center, 507 Station St., will be open from 12:30 until 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. Saturday.

Hopewell residents may dispose of trash at no charge at the convenience center. They may bring up to four tires per person or eight tires per household. Tires must be separated from rims.

There will be the usual $10.00 fee for the removal of Freon to dispose of appliances.

Firestone Tire at Cavalier Square Shopping Center is partnering in the cleanup and will accept batteries and up to four tires per person.

The following items will not be accepted at the Citizen Convenience Center:

Concrete
Masonry
Household garbage (items normally disposed of in the trash container)
Paint of any kind
Batteries
Automobile motors
Hazardous waste materials
