The City of Hopewell hosts its annual Spring Citywide Cleanup from April 20-27, 2024.

During Spring Cleanup, hours of operation at the Citizen Convenience Center are 12:30-6:00 p.m. Monday-Friday, and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Residents are encouraged to participate by cleaning around their homes and along their streets. During this week, Hopewell residents may dispose of trash at no charge at the Citizen Convenience Center located at 507 Station St., behind Fire Station #1. The usual $10 fee for the removal of Freon to dispose of appliances still applies.

The following items will not be accepted at the Citizen Convenience Center: concrete, masonry, garbage (items normally disposed of in your household trash), paint of any kind, batteries, automobile motors, and hazardous waste materials. Tires are limited to four per person and eight per household. Tires must be separated from the rim.
