The Central Virginia Waste Management Authority is a small but mighty operation. Meet the newest employees rounding out our 12-member team!

Katrina Entzminger
Director of Recycling and Waste Management

Katrina is no stranger to CVWMA having attended both Technical Advisory Committee and Board of Directors meetings and partnered on authority initiatives in her previous role in the City of Richmond Department of Public Works. As the new Director of Recycling and Waste Management, she looks forward to continuing to support Richmond and other CVWMA jurisdictions in their solid waste, recycling and sustainability efforts. Katrina is a VCU alum (GO RAMS!) and singer who loves karaoke; she is also a bookworm and avid chess player. As a craft beer snob and foodie, she enjoys Richmond’s burgeoning restaurant scene.

Jason Brown
Customer Service Representative

Jason enjoys the many facets of being a Customer Service Representative, especially learning on the job. He is focused on maintaining quality and professionalism in his interactions with customers. Jason has a degree in business management and likes to create music, film and art as a hobby.

Stephanie Burr
Education and Outreach Assistant

As CVWMA’s Education and Outreach Assistant, Stephanie bridges the gap between environmental literacy and community engagement for young learners. With two decades of teaching experience, she is dedicated to creating high-quality instructional materials that make sustainability accessible and meaningful for everyone. She is motivated by a lifelong commitment to education and helping others connect more deeply with the world around them. Outside of her professional life, Stephanie is an avid gardener and home cook who loves exploring new destinations and planning family adventures.
