Henrico County Shred It to Protect It

Henrico County Police Department will hold its "Shred It to Protect It" event on Saturday, Oct. 8, 2022, at the Western Government Center, 4301 E. Parham Road. Henrico County residents may bring electronics for recycling (fees apply) and documents for shredding. New Kent Electronics Recycling & Document Shredding

New Kent County will host an electronics recycling and document shredding event on Oct. 22 from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the New Kent County Courthouse, 12007 Courthouse Circle. This event is open to New Kent residents only. For more information, call 804-389-0080.

Chesterfield County Electronics Recycling and Document Shredding

Westchester Commons 361 Perimeter Drive, Midlothian, VA

Chesterfield County will host a shredding and electronics recycling event Saturday, March 18, 2023, at Westchester Commons, 361 Perimeter Dr., Midlothian. This event is open to Chesterfield residents only. Bring up to 2 small boxes or 3 grocery bags of documents for free shredding. Fees apply for some electronics recycling.

Hanover County Recycling Event

Mechanicsville Convenience Center 7427 Verdi Lane, Mechanicsville, VA

Hanover County residents may bring household hazardous waste for special recycling and documents for shredding.

Unlimited Paper Shredding at Petersburg Community Day

Petersburg High School 3101 Johnson Road, Petersburg, VA

A free paper shredding event will be available to the public as part of Petersburg Community Day. Bring old documents, junk mail and photos.

Richmond E-Cycle Day

Corner of Arthur Ashe Blvd & Robin Hood Rd 1700 Arthur Ashe Boulevard, Richmond, VA

The City of Richmond will host its E-Cycle Day Saturday, Sept. 30, at 1710 Robin Hood Road. The event is for City of Richmond residents only. Services available: document shredding (limit 5 boxes per resident), electronics recycling (some fees apply), household hazardous waste collection (pesticides, herbicides, oil-based paint). There will also be a giveaway of biodegradable leaf bags (10 per resident).
