RICHMOND, VA — Recycling and trash collections through Central Virginia Waste Management Authority will be on regular schedule through the holidays. There will be no holiday delays Monday, Dec. 26, 2022, or Monday, Jan. 2, 2023. Customers should monitor CVWMA.com in case of inclement weather or other updates. Blue Thursday recycling will be collected on Friday, Nov. 25. Blue Friday recycling will be collected on Saturday, Nov. 26. Recycling day in the City of Petersburg has moved to Wednesday. Most homes will still be collected on Red or Blue Weeks as indicated on the recycling calendar.
