Curbside Recycling
The CVWMA's curbside recycling
program, the largest in the state of Virginia, serves 245,000
households in six jurisdictions. Nearly 120 tons
of recyclables are collected each day of curbside recycling
service. More than 40,000 tons of
material are diverted from Virginia landfills annually as a result
of curbside recycling in central
Virginia.
