FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE RICHMOND, VA — CVWMA collections are on regular schedule Monday through Wednesday this week. There will be no recycling or trash collection on Thursday, Nov. 23, Thanksgiving Day. CVWMA collections normally scheduled for Thursday and Friday will slide to the following day, with Friday collections moving to Saturday. Recycling day in the City of Petersburg has moved to Wednesday. Most homes will still be collected on Red or Blue Weeks as indicated on the recycling calendar. Old Towne addresses will be collected weekly on Wednesday. Customers may look up their week by entering their address in the CVWMA customer web tool.
