Hanover County Electronics Recycling Collection
Hanover County will host an electronics recycling collection on Nov. 12 from 8 a.m. until noon at the Mechanicsville Convenience Center, 7427 Verdi Lane. Fees apply for some items. Visit the county's website for details. This event is open to Hanover County or Town of Ashland residents only.

Goochland Tire Amnesty and Paper Shredding
Goochland County will offer residents a special tire amnesty and paper shredding event on Dec. 3, 2022, from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Old Fairground property (intersection of Fairground and Sandy Hook roads). Up to 10 tires will be collected per resident. Tires larger than those on a standard size pickup truck will not be accepted. Residents may bring up to five bankers boxes per person for shredding.
