Powhatan County residents are invited to bring tires and appliances for recycling on May 3, 2025, to the county fairgrounds, 4042 Anderson Hwy. There are no fees for this event.

Tires

• Car and small truck tires only.
• Tires must be removed from rims.
• No large truck or ATV tires.

Appliances

• A licensed contractor will be on site to remove Freon from appliances at no fee to the resident.
• Mercury switches accepted.

No commercial establishments.
