City of Richmond E-Cycle Day

May 17 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

City of Richmond residents will be able to recycle a variety of materials at the city’s E-Cycle Day, May 17, 2025, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at 1710 Robin Hood Road.

Paper shredding, electronics recycling and household hazardous waste recycling will be provided.

This event is open to City of Richmond residents only.

No commercial material accepted.

Electronics

Most electronic devices will be accepted at no charge. However, fees apply for some items such as:

  • Monitors and TVs: $21 to $37 based on size
  • Smartphones and tablets with internal batteries: $10
  • Tapes and CDs: $10.50 per filebox
  • Printers more than 25 pounds: $15.75
  • Printers under 25 pounds: $5.25

Document Shredding

Limit to five boxes per vehicle. Remove staples, binder and clips.

Household Hazardous Waste

Pesticides, bug sprays, herbicides and oil-based paints (in original containers) accepted.

  • Latex and water-based paints will not be collected. These items can be left in open paint cans until they have dried out and then put in with regular curbside trash pick-up.
