City of Richmond Hosting Special Collection Event

NOTE: On 9/18/17, City staff have informed us that there is a NEW VENUE for this event. Do not go to the Old Kmart on Midlothian. Event at Robin Hood Rd.
The City of Richmond Department of Public Works , Clean City Commission and Department of Public Utilities- Stormwater Utility and New Generations Federal Credit Union will be hosting a special Richmond Recycle Day on Saturday, September 23 from 10 am – 2 pm at 1710 Robin Hood Road ( Robin Hood Road and N. Blvd location). This special collection event will offer document shredding ( up to 5 boxes) , and collection of pesticides, herbicides, and *oil based paints (*ONLY). This free event is for City of Richmond residents, only. Must show proof of residency.
Electronics recycling WILL NOT be collected at this event. Download event flier here.
City recyclers can drop off their 24 gallon green bins for reuse in city schools since residents now have 95 gallon green recycling cart with a blue lid.
Biodegradable Bags for Leaf Disposal will be given away. Up to 10 bags per residents while supplies last.
