Recycle Real Christmas Trees Throughout Central Virginia

A list is available at cvwma.com/cvwma-education/christmas-tree-recycling/. Programs are open only to residents of the sponsoring locality. First Annual Earth Day Celebration (Charles City County)

Concerned Citizens of Charles City County is partnering with Charles City Elementary School for an Earth Day celebration Saturday, April 23, on school grounds. The event will begin with a litter cleanup at 10 a.m. Free lunch will be served at 12:30, followed by ecology programs for all ages (by University of Richmond students and faculty). There will also be music and pony rides.

Powhatan County will host an Earth Day celebration April 22, 4-6 p.m. on the Powhatan Courthouse Village Green, 3880 Old Buckingham Road. Visit educational and informational booths with child-friendly activities. Free.
