The Annual Prince George County Clean Community Day is held for Prince George County residents to dispose of household hazardous waste, tires and certain unwanted items without charge. Adopt-A-Highway volunteers will be picking up litter from roadsides.

NO BUSINESSES WILL BE PERMITTED TO DISPOSE OF ITEMS AT EITHER LOCATION (see locations below).

Police Department Parking Lot

• Tires: Car and light-duty truck tires only. Rims must be removed.
• Household hazardous waste – bring in original containers
  • Oil-based paints, thinners, solvents
  • Pesticides
  • Brake fluid, floor cleaners
  • Unwanted fuels (gasoline, kerosene)
  • Chemistry sets and photographic chemicals
• Electronics
• Paper shredding
  • No cardboard boxes or binders
  • Paper clips and staples OK
