Powhatan Anti-Litter Council will host a recycling collection for tires and appliances on Saturday, Feb. 28, 2026, from 8 a.m. until noon.

This event is for Powhatan County residents only. No commercial establishments.

Tires
Standard car or small truck tires only.
No ATV or large tires accepted.
Tires must be off rim and free of trash.

Appliances
Freon will be removed at no charge by a certified vendor.
Mercury switches accepted.
