New Kent’s Clean County Committee will host a recycling event for New Kent County residents March 12, 9 a.m.-1 p.m., rain or shine.

The event will be at the New Kent County Courthouse, 12007 Courthouse Circle.

Residents may bring the following items free of charge:

• Tires without rims
• Electronics
• Eyeglasses
• Hearing aids

This event will also be a pet food drive for New Kent Animal Shelter. See details at the link below.
