Bring One for the Chipper- annual City of Richmond Recycling Event

The City of Richmond and Clean City Commission will be hosting its annual “Bring One for the Chipper” Event on Saturday, Jan. 9 from 10 am -2 pm at 1710 Robin Hood Rd and N. Blvd. (field across from the Arthur Ashe Center. In addition to tree recycling, the city is hosting e-cycling and document shredding ( up to 5 boxes) and city recyclers can drop off their 24 gallon green bins for reuse in city scholls since now have 95 gallon recycling cart.

As part of this event, the City of Richmond will be hosting electronics recycling. There is a $10 fee to recycle old TVs and $10 fee to recycle CRTs. CVWMA is using eWaste Tech System as the collection vendor for this event.

Bring unwanted electronics such as:

Computer systems (hard drive, CPU)
Computer accessories (cables, wires, keyboards, mice, speakers, etc.)
Printers, scanners & copiers
Fax machines
VCRs & camcorders
Stereos
Telephones
