Powhatan County Electronics Recycling & Tire Amnesty Collection Event

Celebrate “Earth Day” by participating in mini-recycling event sponsored by Powhatan Anti-Litter Council on Saturday, April 23 from 9 am – 1 pm at Powhatan Fairgrounds, 4042 Anderson Highway, Powhatan, VA 23193. This event will also include tire amnesty collection too. (For Powhatan residents only)
There is a $10 fee for the disposal CRTs- that is $10 for each TV and $10 fee for each monitor. CRTs require special handling due to the leaded glass and mercury they contain.
Payable by cash or check.
Bring unwanted electronics such as:
Computer systems (hard drive, CPU, monitor, fee for CRTs)
Computer accessories (cables, wires, keyboards, mice, speakers, etc.)
Printers, scanners & copiers
Fax machines
VCRs & camcorders
Stereos
