Composting

CVWMA Composting Header

Residential food waste, food-soiled paper products and certified compostable items can be composted at drop-off sites in Chesterfield, Henrico and Richmond.

Look for the purple cart with green lid. Purple carts are located at convenience centers, community gardens and libraries. These carts are serviced weekly by local NOPE Compost Co. through a partnership with CVWMA.
