Charles City County offers three sites located in the county for disposal of most recyclables generated by residents.

The centers are provided for the residents of Charles City at no cost to the citizens through our landfill agreement with Waste Management. The centers are for regular household trash and recyclables. To use these sites a customer must have one of the following:

1. Current Charles City County Vehicle Sticker;

2. Letter from Director of Public Utilities; or

3. Refuse Sticker or Permit issued by Charles City County Public Works.
