Fourth of July Holiday to Delay Some CVWMA Collections

RICHMOND, VA — Some CVWMA collections will be on a one-day delay July 4-7 due to the Fourth of July holiday.

There will be no collections on Tuesday, July 4, 2023.

Trash pickup in Colonial Heights, Hopewell and Petersburg will slide to the following day.

Blue Week recycling collections also will slide to the following day.

Collections normally scheduled for Friday will occur on Saturday, July 8.

A self-service tool is available at www.cvwma.com for residents to look up collection days and request select services.
