No out-of-county materials will be accepted.

Adopt-A-Highway volunteers also will be out on local roads picking up litter. DESCRIPTION:Keep Hopewell Beautiful and the Hopewell Public Works Department have scheduled a citywide cleanup from Saturday\, April 16 through Saturday\, April 23. \nResidents are encouraged to clean up around their homes and streets. \nDuring the week\, Hopewell residents may dispose of items at no charge at the Citizen Convenience Center\, 507 Station St.\, behind Fire Station #1. For this event\, convenience center hours are Monday through Friday\, 12:30 p.m. until 6 p.m.\, and Saturday 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. \nA limit of four tires per resident (and eight tires per household) will be accepted. Tires must be removed from rims. \nDisposal of appliances that require Freon removal will cost $10. \nThe following are not accepted at the Citizen Convenience Center: \n\nConcrete\nMasonry\nGarbage normally disposed of in a trash cart\nPaint of any kind\nBatteries\nAutomobile motors\nHazardous waste materials\n\nFirestone Tire in Cavalier Square Shopping Center will accept four tires per person and batteries (no limit) during the Spring Cleanup week.
