DESCRIPTION:Prince George County and Prince George Extension Office are sponsoring Prince George Clean Community Day\, Saturday\, April 16\, 2016 from 8:30 am- 1 :00 pm. Click here for event flyer with all of the details! \nThe Prince George Clean Community Day is held annually for Prince George County residents to dispose of hazardous waste\, tires and certain unwanted items without charge.  Adopt-A-Highway volunteers will be out on many local roads picking up litter on this day as well. \nWe will have an area to accept the following types of tires: Car and Light Truck Tires\, Truck Tires (20 inch rim or larger) and Farm Tractor and Implement tires. \nThere will be a Paper Shredding Truck on site.  Shredding will be available to assist you with a secure way to destroy those old personal files and documents. \nA Hazardous Waste Company will also be available to accept the following items:  Oil-based paints\, All Pesticides\, Paint Thinners and Solvents\, Unwanted Fuels (Gasoline\, Kerosene)\, Unwanted Household cleaners\, chemistry sets\, photographic chemicals\, brake fluid\, etc. \nBe sure to note which location will collect what you want to recycle as there are two locations for this event.
