  • CVWMA Programs Available

     Beginning 9/1/11 Goochland County offers several options to its curbside recyclers.

           1. Residents may use an alternate rigid container (anything over 40 gallons must have steel bar

               for easy tipping). You can contact CVWMA's customer service at

               customerservice@cvwma.com for free stickers to identify the container as recycling.

           2.  96-gallon recycling carts are available through online purchase, $65 user fee. Order Cart

           3.  24 gallon bins are available for on-line ordering, $16 each. Order 24 gallon Bin

  • Municipal Solid Waste Collection Sites

Central/Eastern Convenience Center
1908 Hidden Rock Lane, off Fairground Rd (Rt. 632) near Rt. 522
Site features a drop-off recycling center for cans, bottles, paper, etc.
Other items collected include:  tires, appliances, propane tanks, cell phones, oil, antifreeze, oil filters,  

paints and other materials, rechargeable batteries, lead acid batteries

Western Convenience Center
3455 Hadensville-Fife Road
Site features a drop-off recycling center for cans, bottles, paper, etc.
Other items collected include:  tires, appliances, propane tanks, cell phones, oil, antifreeze, oil filters, paints and other materials, rechargeable batteries, lead acid batteries
