Richmond, VA-The City of Hopewell is excited to announce Curbside Recycling coming soon to residents!   In an effort to enhance services and to increase recycling, the City will add every-other-week curbside recycling collection services to all eligible households and businesses starting July 1, 2014.  There is no cost to the resident for these curbside recycling enhancements.

“Citizens have been asking for recycling services for many years, and I am proud to have worked on bringing curbside recycling to Hopewell and helping educate citizen on the benefits of recycling” says, City Manager Mark Haley. “Providing everyone a recycling cart will make it easier for residents to recycle, and they will find they have more space in their trash cart.”

“Recycling is an important step towards making the City a cleaner and greener place to live, work and visit,” says Thomas Meadows, Chairman, Keep Hopewell Beautiful Committee.
